Palmers! New at SHQ...
Search the SHQ discussion forums for mentions of Palmers and you'll see
that the Austrian company has an excellent reputation with some near legendary
products (ultra shiny Neons to name just one). Well, they're now here!
And better still, to celebrate the launch we've got a competition to give
away three sets of the following: a £50 Palmers voucher, poster,
mousepad, and notebook. It's free and easy to enter - all you have to

- Gio and Cervin seconds
There aren't many so get in quick if you want some, but we've just added
a batch of Gio and Cervin seconds to the site. You probably know the score
by now. Don't complain to me if you visit tomorrow and they've all gone!
- Over 40 new products.
As well as Palmers there are dozens of other new products from Charnos,
Aristoc, Trasparenze, Pretty Polly, Gerbe, Falke (stockings, hold-ups
and a suspender belt!), Jonathan Aston, Leg Avenue, Silky, Gipsy, Love
Me, Le Bourget, Oroblu and more. Christmas is only about seven weeks away
so it's never too early to stock up! Look out for some true innovation
from both Aristoc and Pretty Polly - both of whom have yarns impregnated
with oils, plant extracts and sea minerals for something truly uplifting!
- Bigger sizes
We've taken a delivery of Cervin Capri 15s in a new XXXL size 6. In addition
we also now have a new version of the classic SHQ eight-strap suspender
belt in XL, XXL and XXXL.
- The Gio basque is back - but watch out for Gio price rises soon
The classic Gio six strap basque was always a favourite but we haven't
had any for a while. Now, though, it's back, in both black and white.
Sadly, though, Gio have a new price list from November 14th. Point heel
fully fashioned stockings are going up £2 to £15.95, Cubans
are going up to £16.50 (currently £13.95) and contrast seams
to £16.95 (currently £14.95). The RHTs are going up to £11.50
(from £8.95). We'll try to stock up as much as we can afford now
to delay the price rise as long as possible, but if you want to beat the
price rise you have just over a week!
- Levee problems
Levee's XXXL stockings and hold-ups have a huge and devoted following
but we're not quite sure what's happening with the company at the moment.
Deliveries seem to have dried up. We've just bought almost everything
that the UK distributor had in stock, but we're not sure if there will
ever be any more. Levee products are unique and massively popular, but
there's a fair chance that once they've gone they will have gone for ever.

- Prices cut on Rago!
Most of the new black and pink Rago range is now in stock (although 28
in the waist cincher is sold out again already and sizes from 36 up are
to follow in about two weeks). Meanwhile, prices on every other Rago product
have been cut!
- New lingerie from Sensual Mystique
We're extremely pleased to announce the arrival of 10 new lingerie products
from our new American supplier, Sensual Mystique. They're in stock at
the time of writing but expected to go fast and the next delivery is two
weeks away so be quick if you don't want to wait!
- Four more products from Leg Avenue
The new Leg Avenue collection has just been released, and four new products
(including fence nets in a wide range of colours) are now available.
- New express shipping option
International customers in a hurry can now choose a new Interlink express
shipping option. It's a bit like Fed Ex although slightly less expensive.

1. Cervin seconds are here!
Gio seconds are always immensely popular, so now we've done the same with
Cervin! 100% silk stockings that would normally cost £25.99 are
now just £7.99. Fully fashioned stockings (normally £16.45)
are just £6.99. And then there are Capris, Capri bicolores, Esprit
Couture bicolores...
Our man at Cervin said "our seconds are slightly imperfect but they
would not run. There are very minor defects which most of the time cannot
be seen by 'unqualified' eyes". However a few that arrived seemed
worse than we'd expect so we haven't put those on the site. To our knowledge,
all those now available should be okay, but if you get a bad pair rest
assured you can always return them for a refund.
Quantities, obviously, are strictly limited so get in quick if you want
some. I don't know when, if ever, we'll get any more!
2. XXXL Gio fully fashioned stockings
Talking of limited exclusives, we asked Gio to make some XXXL versions
of their fully fashioned stockings, and so they did. We've now got them
in stock in sizes up to 13.5 but, as it stands, it's a one-off delivery
and they may never come in again. Get in quick if you want some (again!).
3. Exclusive large sizes in the new black and pink Rago ranges
At last we've got all the large sizes in stock of the new black and pink
Rago 721 waist cincher and 72523 suspender belt. However (and there's
a theme running here!) sizes from 36-42 were made exclusively for us on
a one-off basis. They will never be made again. And, obviously, once they've
gone they've gone for definite!
4. New Le Bourget and Falke autumn collections
Manufacturers seem to be well into this one-shot delivery lark! Also new,
and also limited in quantity to the amount we've now got in stock are
two remarkable new autumn ranges from Le Bourget and new autumn colours
in three of the most popular Falke ranges. They're all now on the site
and once they've gone it's unlikely we'll be able to get any more.
5. Six new products from Dore Dore!
Dore Dore is a curious brand for us: their products are simply divine,
but almost as soon as we started to work with them they moved factories,
had production problems, ran out of stock, and then eventually withdrew
most of the ranges we carried. However, now they're back with a bit of
vigour! There are six new products and they're all in stock now. They're
a touch on the expensive side, but you're paying for extreme quality and
won't be disappointed!
6. (Some) Charnos products are back!
We've had all sorts of problems getting hold of Charnos products of late.
The company was sold by its previous owner, and in the process they ran
out of stock of just about everything. Many apologies if you're waiting
for 24-7s or the new Transparent hold-ups - so are we! Every expected
delivery date has been missed but they've promised to be back on schedule
by the end of next month.
However on the plus side (and with just about nothing else available!)
we have managed to buy up lots of stock of two of the most popular recently
discontinued ranges. Hence the Light Fantastic and Opaque stockings are
back! We're especially pleased about the opaques as they don't have a
replacement for those, and yet come the autumn they're one of the biggest
selling ranges on the site. Again it was a one-off delivery and although
it was a very big one, it would pay to stock up early as we've been told
there won't be any more...
7. And that's nearly it...
Except to say that we've also added another new range from Leg Avenue
and Gerbe hand cream, and as it took until 5.30am this morning to get
it all done, I'm now off for a cup of tea. Hurrah!
